You’ll use a variety of traditional jewellery techniques and add interesting textures. \nYou will learn how to:\nMeasure your size for a wide band\nSelect correct width of metal for base\, ends and spinning components\nTexture metal elements using hammers or the rolling mill\nForm silver or gold fill to create the rings\nSolder all the different components\nEnsure the ring is round using mallets and ring mandrel \nFit end rings tightly and solder in place\nSand and polishing connection\nSand and polish \nLevel: suitable for beginners but some prior knowledge of forming and soldering is recommended \nTutor: Beccy Gillatt \nMaterials: in addition to your course fee (approx. £20-£50 depending on chosen metals) \nPlease read our cancellation policy here before booking \n \n \n\n
