Roll up young ones!

Age 10-16

An after school class to give young people the experience of jewellery making with precious metal.

Use silver wire to form a ring using a selection of pliers
Solder to connect the ends together
Clean the metal in a citric acid bath
Use hammers to add a lovely texture
Solder a stone setting to your ring
Set a cabochon stone
Polish your ring

There are a maximum of 6 spaces on the course with one tutor per 3 learners.

Materials for 1 ring, silver 6mm setting and 6mm stone are included in the course fee
