Roll up young ones!

Age 8-16

An after school class to give young people the experience of jewellery making with precious metal.

Use silver wire and mandrels to form silver chain links
Use snips to cut the links
Solder the links together using appropriate solder grades
Texture the links using hammers
Clean the metal in a citric acid bath
Add clasp using pliers
Polish your bracelet using polishing cloth and polish

There are a maximum of 6 spaces on the course with one tutor per 3 learners.

Materials for 1 ring, silver 6mm setting and 6mm stone are included in the course fee
