Kids club – Textured ring and pendant – Thursday 12th October 4.30 -6pm

Roll up young ones!

Age 8-13

This is your chance to experience jewellery making with precious metal. You will use silver wire to form a ring using a selection of pliers then a torch and solder to connect the ends together. Once this is done you’ll clean the metal in a citric acid bath and use hammers to add a lovely texture.

You will then move onto your next project which is to form a pendant of your own design, solder the pieces together, clean in the citric acid bath and then use the hammers once again to create a lovely texture.

There are a maximum of 6 spaces on the course with one tutor per 2 learners.

Materials for 1 ring and 1 pendant are included in the fee.
