The Courses
Beccy Gillatt School of Jewellery has offered courses for over nine years, with workshops designed for all skill levels — from complete beginners to advanced makers. Our well-equipped teaching studios accommodate up to nine learners at each location, in both Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes. We deliver over 100 courses a year including:

Learn from the professionals
Our multi-week and one day courses are led by a team of experienced jewellers and take place in our dedicated specialist workshop spaces. The school offers a wide variety of classes at different times of day and throughout the week to accommodate all schedules.
We also hold one off sessions with our regular team with 1 hour taster sessions and 3 hour workshops that are perfect for total beginners. These are usually on a Saturday and Sunday. Beccy runs one off full day workshops throughout the year at both venues including sand casting, stone setting, etching, sea glass setting to name just a few.
Alongside our regular workshops, the school welcomes visiting specialist tutors throughout the year who lead both beginner-friendly and advanced classes. We support learners at every stage, from absolute beginners to experienced professional makers.
The Workshops
Both workshops are well equipped with essential hand tools at each station and a wealth of larger equipment and shared tools for more specific projects.
Yardley Hastings workshop at Yardley Arts
Right at the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside in the lovely village of Yardley Hastings.
- Just off the A428 very close to Olney and 10 mins from Wellingborough and Northampton and within easy reach of Bedford, Towcester and Rushden too.
Great Linford workshop
On the ground floor of the beautiful North Pavilion building overlooking the Great Linford Manor and Almshouses.
- In the Great Linford Manor Park very close to Central Milton Keynes and 10 mins from Newport Pagnell, Stony Stratford and Wolverton and within easy reach of Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard and Woburn too.
