Sea Glass Setting Day (BE17W7YHA)
Spend a creative day in the jewellery making workshop learning all the techniques needed to be able to craft your own piece of silver jewellery with a stunning piece of sea glass.
You will learn how to:
- Select appropriate materials for your design
- Form fine silver to create a setting for your sea glass.
- Form sheet or wire to create your ring / pendant
- Texture your ring shank with hammers or the rolling mill
- Solder components
- Saw pierce / cut the base of your setting
- Add fixings and findings
- Set sea glass
- Polish your work
Level: Suitable for total beginners and those with some experience
Materials: In addition to the course fee and will be approx £30-£60 depending on your design and size of glass you choose.
