Advanced Spinner Ring Workshop (BC09V1YHa)

Learn how to create a beautiful wide textured ring and add spinning components. You’ll use a variety of traditional jewellery techniques and add interesting textures.

You will learn how to:
Measure your size for a wide band
Select correct width of metal for base, ends and spinning components
Texture metal elements using hammers or the rolling mill
Form silver or gold fill to create the rings
Solder all the different components
Ensure the ring is round using mallets and ring mandrel

Fit end rings tightly and solder in place
Sand and polishing connection
Sand and polish

Level: suitable for beginners but some prior knowledge of forming and soldering is recommended
