During this 3 hour silver bangles and rings jewellery making workshop you will be guided through all the techniques to make a silver die formed bangle and matching ring.

You will learn how to:

• Measure a bangle and ring size accurately
• Cut wire lengths with shears and file the ends square
• Form wires using pliers, mallets and mandrels ready for soldering
• Solder the ends of the wires together using a handheld soldering torch, flux and solder to solder together
• Use a bangle and ring mandrel with a mallet to shape your forms
• Use bangle and ring dies to form your wires into pretty designs
• Polish your work

Materials: Silver for 1 bangle and 1 ring (1.8mm wire) is included in the course fee. Additional materials can be purchased on the day if you’d like to make more than 1 of each.

You’ll leave the session with your own handcrafted silver bangles and rings. You’ll also have foundational knowledge to continue exploring jewellery making. This rewarding experience opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities, giving you valuable insights into the art of working with precious metals.
